SUMMARY:House of Representatives’ Homeland Security Committee Field Briefing
DESCRIPTION:The House of Representatives’ Homeland Security Committee will be hosting a field briefing on Monday\, October 30th\, 2017 at the Port of Los Angeles. Congresswoman Barragán\, a member of the committee\, is excited to have her colleagues from Capitol Hill join together in her district for a briefing related to American port security.  \nThe meeting is open to the public and will take place on the second floor of the Port building and will begin promptly at 1:30 pm. The proceedings are open to the public\, but there will be no opportunity for public comment. If you wish to submit a comment or statement for possible addition to the hearing record\, please submit to gabriela.medina@mail.house.gov by close of business Friday\, October 28. Comments should somehow be related to the topic of the hearing in order to be considered.  \nThe Congresswoman is excited to invite constituents to this unique experience of witnessing a Congressional briefing in her district.
