DESCRIPTION:EVENT PROGRAM\nBlue Hour connects science\, culture\, and community by combining art and technology to tell the story of the emerging Blue Economy. \nBlue Hour 3: The Warehouse will celebrate the ocean through various art installations spread throughout Berth 60 – a 60\,000 square foot warehouse – on the AltaSea campus. \nWith over a dozen artists and organizations participating\, this year’s event also exemplifies STEAM education for students of all ages\, showcasing artists and art schools exploring some of the same issues as the scientists and college labs featured at AltaSea. \nSupport AltaSea’s Project Blue education programs to reach the next generation of ocean explorers and innovators by buying a ticket. Tickets available August 18th. \nEVENT SCHEDULE\nBerth 60 – AltaSea \n5:00 \nDoors Open; Check in at the Berth 60 garage door. Begin your evening by viewing AltaSea’s new mural. \n5:30 – 7:00 \nTake a walk through the 60\,000 square foot warehouse and the AltaSea Exploration Wharf. \nExperience the art installations\, grab a bite to eat\, a cocktail to sip\, and enjoy the company of those around you. \n7:00 – 7:30 \nJoin us in honoring those who pave the way for future generations.
