DESCRIPTION:Port of Los Angeles Executive Director Gene Seroka to Outline 2024 Priorities; Proceeds go to EXP\, International Seafarers Center \nEXP provides youth maritime education programs to thousands of local area high school students every year. The International Seafarers Center of Long Beach and Los Angeles offers a range of services to seafarers arriving daily at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. Since the first State of the Port event in 2016\, more than $220\,000 has been raised and donated to these two nonprofit organizations. \nThe 2024 State of the Port Platinum sponsors are Ports America and Union Pacific.
