Alvitre\nTongva Educator and Ti’at Society Co-Founder\nCindi Alvitre is a mother and grandmother\, and she has been an educator and artist and activist for over three decades. She is a descendant of the original inhabitants of Los Angeles and Orange Counties \nDesiree Martinez\nTongva Educator\, Indigenous Archaeologist\nDesiree Renee Martinez is a Gabrielino (Tongva) community member\, practicing archaeologist and President of Cogstone Resource Management.  Ms. Martinez has dedicated her life to obtaining the skills and knowledge to combat the wanton destruction of Native American sacred and cultural sites. Her research and professional work aim to remind the Southern California community of the Tongva’s vibrant heritage and continuing contribution to the Southern California region. \nTickets
