SUMMARY:National Maritime Day Observance
DESCRIPTION:American Merchant Marine Veterans Memorial \nOn every 22nd of May at 11am there is a National Maritime Day Observance and Memorial Service\, honoring the American Merchant Marine Veterans who bravely served their country. Located at the foot of West 6th Street\, San Pedro\,  California 90731.\nLuncheon will follow at the Double Tree Hotel.\nAs tradition\, the service will consist of a few speakers\, Memorial Service\, and Blessing of the Wreaths. Once again\, the Committee recommends Massey’s House of Flowers on Western Ave\, in Lomita.\nThere is a new parking lot located next to the Memorial. Parking at the Hotel is plentiful\, therefore\, there will not be trolley service.\nLuncheon will be held immediately following the Maritime Day observance at the Double Tree Hotel.\nIf you have any questions\, please contact Jerry Aspland\, jaaspland@gmail.com 1-714-968-4409.
