DESCRIPTION:1. Discover the wonders of the Channel Islands as you join CMA educators on an adventure to Anacapa Island\, part of the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. During the crossing we’ll watch for marine birds and mammals\, then join a guided walk and check out nesting gulls and their chicks as you greet spring on Anacapa Island. This trip leaves from Oxnard.\n**To get from the boat to Anacapa Island\, participants will need to climb a vertical ladder of approximately ten rungs then climb up a stairwell of 153 steps to reach the top of the island.**\nReservations are required: 310-548-7562\nFee: $59 per person\, $54 age 55 and over\, $41 under age 12 ($50 FRIENDS members)\n2. Cabrillo Art Corner 10 am-2 pm\nHave fun doing arts and crafts! Each Cabrillo Art Corner features a unique ocean-themed project that jump starts your creativity\, engages your senses and relaxes your mind.
