DESCRIPTION:Open Studios Day\nDecember 2 @ 12:00 am – 4:00 pm\nFREE\nJoin us for AGCC’s Fall Open Studios Day on Saturday\, December 2nd\, 2023 \nAngels Gate Cultural Center presents our Fall 2023 Open Studios Day\, December 2nd! Over 40 local artists will open their doors to the public for a peek into their art practice. The free event includes a Holiday Art Sale\, Community Class demos\, Family Art Workshop\, Direct from the Classroom: Fall Selections art show\, Teen Mural Club unveiling\, Peruvian food truck Mikhuna\, and artist talk in the gallery for the current exhibition\, RED EARTH GAZE. \nOpen Studios Day is a free\, all-ages event that provides the public a glimpse into the process\, art\, and lives of local artists who create at the Center. AGCC hosts one of the largest studio artist programs in the region with a diverse range of artistic disciplines including ceramics\, photography\, printmaking\, writing\, sculpture\, videography\, music\, and painting. This self-guided tour of artist studios provides a unique opportunity to interact with the artists and purchase contemporary works of art. \nThe Holiday Art Sale in Building H will give the public an opportunity to support local artists and the Center by purchasing creations by AGCC Studio Artists. The sale in H will take place for one day only\, with additional works available for purchase directly from the artists in their studios. \nLive Community Class demonstrations include: Pulse Dance\, Watercolor\, Music Exploration\, Printmaking\, Welding\, Master Painting\, and Raku. Pulse demonstration will be in Building H\, with other demos on the lawn in front of Building D. \nCommunity Class demo schedule:\nPULSE DANCE – Jasmine Albuquerque: between noon and 1pm\nWATERCOLOR – Israel Lopez: ongoing\nMUSIC EXPLORATION – Leah Shane Dixon in-studio: ongoing\nPRINTMAKING – Nguyen Ly in the Printmaking Studio: ongoing\nWELDING – Jesse Small: ongoing\nMASTER PAINTING – Philip Brunner: 3pm\nRAKU – Perry Okimoto & Delora Bertsch: 3:30pm in the Kiln Yard \nFamily Art Workshop invites participants of all ages to drop in any time during Open Studios Day to make their own print of original artworks by RED EARTH GAZE artists River Garza and Tochtlita Melissa Govea.

Shine On regularly performs “Dark Side of the Moon” start to finish and has also performed Pink Floyd’s acclaimed “Wish You Were Here” album in its entirety\, plus a compelling medley of Pink Floyd’s rock classic\, “The Wall” is anchored in every show.
