SUMMARY:A Wake at the Gate Cabinet of Curiosities - Angels Gate Cultural Center
DESCRIPTION:Angels Gate Cultural Center presents their semi-annual fundraiser\, A Wake at the Gate: Cabinets of Curiosities\, on September 29\, 2018 from 6pm to 9pm in the Art Galleries. \nOur artists are installing unique “rooms” of curiosities in our galleries in Building A to provide an eye-catching\, fascinating and fun-inspired environment. Our auction will be unlike any other\, all items will be artist created curiosities made especially for the event.  \nGuests will be enticed by the food of a local chef\, enjoy libations\, curious music\, a unique photo booth experience\, a poet composing Poems for Strangers\, indubitably cool artist-made party favors\, and more. \nAll proceeds benefit the restoration of our WWII army base buildings. here at Cultural Center where art is made\, taught\, exhibited and supported.  \nA Wake at the Gate: Cabinets of Curiosities will be an evening to mingle with artists and arts advocates. If you’ve attended before\, you will return. If you’ve never been\, you’ll be amazed. You’ll have more fun at A Wake at the Gate than any fundraiser you’ve attended.  \nTickets
