David’s commercial voice-over and drum recordings can be heard readily on ABC\, CBS\, Verizon and Showtime projects. \nChristine Helferich Guter is a jazz vocalist and studio singer in the Los Angeles area. She performs frequently in LA and Orange County\, and has worked with many legendary musicians including Joe Williams\, Bobby McFerrin\, Rosemary Clooney\, Diane Schuur\, Maynard Ferguson\, Mercer Ellington\, Lionel Hampton\, and Mel Torme. \nChristine works extensively in studio settings\, and has sung on dozens of Hollywood soundtracks including Star Wars Rogue One\, Sing!\, Storks\, Star Trek Beyond\, The Jungle Book\, Jurassic World\, Despicable Me 2\, Men in Black 3\, and Spiderman 3. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists)\, and is the lead singer in the nationally acclaimed vocal jazz ensemble\, Vocalogy. \nAlso an extraordinary educator\, Christine is active internationally as a lecturer\, adjudicator\, and clinician\, and has conducted numerous All-State Jazz and Honor Choirs. Christine is a member of the California Alliance for Jazz (CAJ)\, the Jazz Education Network (JEN)\, the California Music Educators Association (CMEA)\, and the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA). She is presently on the board of ACDA Western Division as Vocal Jazz R&R Chair. \nChristine is currently the Director of Vocal Jazz at the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at California State University Long Beach. SUMMARY:Meet the Grunion
DESCRIPTION:From March through July\, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium presents special evening programs to introduce you to the unique and elusive grunion. \nAt times the beach may look as if it is covered in a blanket of silver as the wriggling fish arrive to mate.  The females burrow into the sand to lay eggs while the males wrap around them in order to fertilize the eggs.  Then both males and females catch the next wave back out to sea.  The fertilized eggs incubate for about nine days in the sand before the tumbling action of the waves from the next series of high tides cause them to hatch as they are carried back out to sea.  \nThe Aquarium opens at 8 p.m. Guests must arrive before 9pm to participate in the full program in the auditorium\, followed by a guided observation. Dress warmly and bring a flashlight to spot grunion at the beach. Program admission is $5 for adults and $1 children/seniors/students with I.D. Buy tickets at the door or pre-purchase your tickets at Meet the Grunion to guarantee admission. Processing fees apply. \n#cmagrunion

Written for workers’ choruses in the 1930s\, Brecht’s lehrstuck\, or learning plays\, marked one of the earliest attempts at what contemporary art would refer to as Social Practice.  In The Measures Taken\, Agitators attempt to convince a Control Chorus (performed by the workers’ chorus) that they did the right thing by killing a Young Comrade\, re-enacting the events leading up to his death to demonstrate that they were operating on behalf of the collective good.

While you’re here visit the Aquarium exhibit hall\, which features 37 tanks containing the largest collection of Southern California marine life in the world and a touch tank that provides up-close encounters with local marine life.
