Fostering is a fun\, temporary commitment that makes a huge lifesaving impact at our City shelters. This is a great way to be a big hero to a tiny soul and help make L.A. a no-kill city! \nReady to get started? Print and bring your completed Foster Application and photo ID to your nearest LA City Animal Services Center or ask for a Foster Application at any of our six shelters. We’ll set you up with an adorable kitten or kittens to begin fostering right away! \nIf you are already an approved Foster Volunteer\, let your shelter know when you are available to care for some kittens. \nFoster Volunteers are needed for: \nMomma cats with nursing kittens\nUnweaned kittens (bottle feeders)\nYoung kittens eating on their own\nFoster volunteers are the future of life-saving. If you are available for a couple of weeks or a month\, please help orphaned kittens get the chance they need for a happy life.
