SUMMARY:House of Representatives’ Homeland Security Committee Field Briefing
DESCRIPTION:The House of Representatives’ Homeland Security Committee will be hosting a field briefing on Monday\, October 30th\, 2017 at the Port of Los Angeles. Congresswoman Barragán\, a member of the committee\, is excited to have her colleagues from Capitol Hill join together in her district for a briefing related to American port security.  \nThe meeting is open to the public and will take place on the second floor of the Port building and will begin promptly at 1:30 pm. The proceedings are open to the public\, but there will be no opportunity for public comment. If you wish to submit a comment or statement for possible addition to the hearing record\, please submit to gabriela.medina@mail.house.gov by close of business Friday\, October 28.
