Our annual 5K is back to raise critical funds to support second chances for waterbirds in need.
Join International Bird Rescue for our 8th annual Yes We PeliCAN! Virtual 5K Run/Walk. Whether you’re in California or across the globe, Bird Rescue supporters everywhere are invited to take part in this fun, active event!
How it Works
From now until Race Week (September 1–7, 2025), participants are encouraged to fundraise and spread the word, then complete their 5K during Race Week in any way they choose: walking, jogging, biking, rowing, or even while birding, all in support of International Bird Rescue’s lifesaving work.
Last year, we had 88 participants across 14 states and 2 countries – let’s top that in 2025!
