Max Walker-Alvas Showroom
Guitarist and composer Max Walker brings a fiery tenacity to the bandstand that is uniquely his own, but clearly builds from a deep well of musical influences. Originally honing his skills as a guitarist and bandleader in Seattle, Walker has gone on to further his musical pursuits in Los Angeles and is rapidly making a name for himself within the LA music scene.
Walker and his quintet will be performing the music from his recently released sophomore album, Chronostasis, which melds his inspirations from progressive guitar giants like Allan Holdsworth and Pat Metheny with his influences in jazz, metal, progressive rock, and beyond.
