Dear MMCC Friend,

Thank you for being a part of our Marine Mammal Care Center Community! With your help and generosity, we have been able to inspire thousands of people worldwide to support ocean conservation.

I am pleased to announce our new lecture series, Beneath The Surface, an opportunity for ocean lovers to learn from conservation experts. We are inviting select members of our community, like yourself, to join us on Wednesday, September 22nd at 5 pm for a mixer and lecture at AltaSea in San Pedro. We only have 30 spots left so register for the in-person event here.

If you can’t make it in person, we will also be live streaming it on Zoom that night at 6 pm. Register for the online Zoom event here. Please note that reservations are required for both in-person and online events.

Our host is Dr. Chris Lowe, the award-winning Director of the California State University Long Beach Shark Lab. He will be discussing the increase in white shark population and what that means for marine mammals and coastal communities.

Thank you for your generous support of our mission and I can’t wait for you to see you soon.

Sincerely,
Amber Becerra
MMCC President and CEO
