The San Pedro-based LA MARITIME INSTITUTE is a finalist in the LA 2050 $100,000 challenge in the “play” category. Their Ocean Adventure Together Program provides access to young people who are not always able to enjoy the coast and ocean.
In this summer program, young participants set sail on an exciting and life-changing 5-day and night voyage at sea. Vote now and help our friends at LAMI to continue to empower youth to discover their greater potential through extraordinary at-sea experiences.
