Set sail from Canada to discover California on this PONANT itinerary. Aboard Le Soléal, you will leave Vancouver for an 8-day cruise to discover vibrant cities such as San Francisco and Los Angeles.
First, we will call at Victoria, named after the former queen of the United Kingdom. This tranquil city is reminiscent of England. You will stroll through the beautiful Butchart Gardens. In this region with fertile seas, you will be able to spot whales in their natural environment.
After two days of sailing, Le Soléal will reach San Francisco on the West Coast of the United States for a lengthy stop as there is much to see and do. From Baker Beach, which starts at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge, you can admire spectacular views of the bridge and headlands. In this city that is home to a great mix of cultures, stroll down Lombard Street or take in the exhibitions at the San Francisco Museum of Art.
Your ship will then take you to Los Angeles, the city of excess and cinema that no words can fully capture. You will discover the Hollywood Hills, the Walk of Fame, but also the ambiance of Venice Beach which is unchanged since the 60s, and of course Beverly Hills with its luxurious shops and celebrity mansions.
