Nutcracker Auditions at San Pedro Ballet School

SAN PEDRO CITY BALLET SEEKS PERFORMERS FROM COMMUNITY FOR 25TH ANNIVERSARY PRODUCTION OF THE NUTCRACKER
Auditions will be held Sunday, August 26 at San Pedro Ballet School; performances will take place December 7-9, 2018 at the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro.
San Pedro City Ballet, San Pedro’s premier ballet company, seeks children and adult performers from the community for its 25th Anniversary production of The Nutcracker. No experience necessary, all levels accepted.
Auditions for The Nutcracker will take place Sunday, August 26 at San Pedro Ballet School (1231 S. Pacific Avenue in San Pedro). Performers should wear clothes that they can move in. The audition schedule will take place as follows:
Ages 4-5, 12:30-1:15 p.m.
Ages 6-8, 1:20-2:05 p.m.
Ages 9-11, 2:10-3:55 p.m.
Ages 12+, 4:00-4:45 p.m.
Adults, 4:50-5:30 p.m.
All participants must enroll in classes at San Pedro Ballet School. A $210 non-refundable rehearsal and costume fee is required to participate; $195 rehearsal fee for second family members. Payment is due August 26 at the audition.
The 2018 production of The Nutcracker will take place at the historic Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro on Friday, December 7 (7:00 p.m.), Saturday, December 8 (2:00 and 7:00 p.m.) and Sunday, December 9 (2:00 p.m.). The show features dance, magic, gorgeous sets and costumes, and is fun for the whole family.
