This Town Hall was planned in response to a hate crime that happened within San Pedro over the Holiday Season. A group of community leaders have come together to plan an event where we, as a community, will learn about hate crimes, hate speech, and the prosecution of those crimes, together with the strong message of rejection of hatred in San Pedro. This powerful program will include musical performances, presentations by distinguished law enforcement from LAPD, the District Attorney’s office, LA vs. Hate, and motivational words by elected officials.
