The Fire with Christa Burch-Grand Annex

The Fire is a high energy Scottish music band, with world class fiddling in combination with bagpipes, guitar, bodhran, whistle, and bouzouki. The group includes, International Scottish Fiddle Champion Rebecca Lomnicky, multi-instrumentalist David Brewer of the popular Celtic band Molly’s Revenge, and Adam Hendey on guitar and bouzouki.
Guest vocalist Christa Burch commands the listener’s attention, but in a gentle, direct way that is warm, expressive and intimate. Part of a vibrant new generation of American folk singers, Christa deftly marries musicianship and storytelling through song. “You feel as if she’s singing straight to you,” says Folkworks Magazine.
