Lego Shipbuilding Contest-L A Maritime Museum

How does it work?
Builders of all ages will have the opportunity to build a ship using Lego pieces supplied by the museum. Prizes will be awarded in the following age group categories: 3-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-13 years, and 14 and over.
Can I bring my own Lego pieces from home?
NO.
Can I make a ship at home and bring it to the museum?
Sorry, there is no home-build category this year. Home-built ships will not be accepted nor can the museum store or display them.
How much does it cost?
The contest and museum admission are both FREE
Can I take my model ship home?
No, all ships and Lego pieces are the property of the museum
Do I have to register in advance?
No, you may drop in any time after 10am. Entries cannot be accepted after 2pm, so your ship must be finished by 2pm.
Can more than one person work on the same ship?
Yes, but the ship will be judged according to the age category of the oldest builder.
Do I have to be present in order to claim a prize?
No. If you are a winner, the museum will contact you and arrange to mail your prize.
