SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA’S MEMORIAL DAY EVENT
LA Fleet Week® is an annual, multi-day celebration of our nation’s Sea Services held on the LA Waterfront at the Port of Los Angeles over the extended Memorial Day Weekend. This year’s public events include:
Active duty ship tours
Military displays and equipment demonstrations
Wells Fargo Veterans Village
Live entertainment
Aircraft flyovers
Snapdragon STEM Expo
Galley Wars presented by FOX Entertainment culinary cook-off competition between Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Army teams
Wyland Clean Water Mobile Learning Experience
Military band performances across L.A.
Lots of fun for the entire family. And best of all, the weekend event is FREE to the general public!
LA Fleet Week is not only a fun public event, but also facilitates numerous symposiums, exercises, and outreaches focused on community resiliency, disaster preparedness, and support for area residents.
No reservations or tickets needed for active duty ship tours! Active duty ship tours are free and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Anyone wishing to tour an active duty ship will need to come to the main event EXPO to board a free ship tour shuttle. Ship tour shuttles run daily from 10:15 am to 4:00 pm, Friday-Monday, May 27-30, 2022. The main event EXPO is located at 250 S. Harbor Blvd., San Pedro, CA 90731 – directly adjacent to the Battleship IOWA.
IMPORTANT: The only way to reach the ship tour location is by shuttle from the main event EXPO. There is no personal vehicle or pedestrian access to the ship tour area.
